Every now and then I get to work on a website that is not only challenging, but a whole lot of fun, and drc1000.com is one of those sites.

Designed by John Sabo from Sabo Creative, DRC1000.com is one of the most beautiful and graphically intensive websites I have ever had the pleasure of working on.

Taking John's design, I developed the site from front to back using 100% W3C compliant CSS, HTML and PHP. DRC1000.com is a secure e-commerce site with a PHP/MySQL driven back-end for website management and order processing.

So What Is this DRC1000 Anyway?

Invented by Gary Sabo, the DRC1000 is a breakthrough product for the auto repair and detailing business. DRC stands for "Diagonally Recessed Center", and while traditional buffing pads saturate the center of the pad with compound, the DRC1000 distributes the compound evenly across the pad, creating less waste and saving both time and money.

"As the DRC1000 rotates at the recommended RPMs, the centrifugal force created pushes compounds out onto the working area of the pad where they can be broken down and used efficiently - not saturated into the center of the pad where there is insufficient friction to break them down. Since there is no center to be saturated, there is virtually no center smearing to cloud your view of the panel and slow you down.

Old-style flat pads smear the panel surface as they gather compounds to the center and keep it saturated. That means more frequent changing or cleaning - another waste of time and money. And because center smearing obscures the true surface condition, you may have to stop polishing and wipe the surface clean to see the true condition or polish longer to remove the haze left by smearing. More wasted time."
